Shanghai at night
Sorry for the lack of posts these past few months, I have been busy with school, adapting to a new environment, and making new friends here in Hangzhou. Obviously, I am so thankful to be able to experience different cultures and foods while getting into college. For the record, China isn't as bad as I thought it would be.
When I was in the United States, people were talking crap about how dirty, polluted, and nasty China is; of course, i was influenced and starting to hate the country. However, after actually living here and see it with my own eyes, China is pretty modern. Not to mention, there are a lot of foreigners from all over the world living here so I don't feel as lonely as I imagined before. Though the language is pretty hard to learn, I still can still speak it little by little because I am still learning. The fashion here is pretty unique, but I'm not used to it yet because some girls are just too extreme with their platform shoes, long skirts, and umbrella in the summer. It's just not me.

Here are a few pictures of what I have been up to lately :)
I also took a couple of pictures when i was walking around outside my university. The cherry blossoms are so adorable and beautiful. I can't even get my eyes off of them, words cannot describe how pretty they are.
LOVE,
