How to make the most of your summer?
Find A Hobby and Focus on It
What do you like to do in your free time? Activities that make you happy, make you who you are, something that allows you to forget about the time and wonders, "Why did the time fly by so fast?" Think about it for a second. When you figure it out, focus and work on it seriously, but do not stress out about it either. These activities are all about the fun, challenge, and improvement. If you love to write, try to make short stories at first then make your way up to write a novel, you can even be a full time blogger if you 're serious about it. A hobby is something that you love to do, something you're passionate about. There is a saying, when you love what you do, you don't have to work for the rest of your life. Since you are free in the summer, start thinking about your future, your dreams, and find yourself. Work your way up towards it, and do something that your future self will thank you for today. You love to sing? Go take a singing course or a summer camp for musics. You can also make cover videos on YouTube and hear feedback and advice from other people who share the same interest as you. But remember, social media can be harsh sometimes, don't let it get to you! If you don't start now, when is the right time? Stop procrastinating because it will do you no good.
The most important thing that you guys have to keep in mind is that you have to work really hard to get on top, it won't just happen over night. It take years and years even to master whatever it is that you'd like to do. However, do not give up, research everything, find out what you have to know to be better, accept critics and advice from other people, and make friends/connections (you don't know when you're gonna need them, right?)
You probably think, "It's easy for you to say." No. Trust me, I am a teenager too, I know exactly what it feels like to be lost, to not knowing what I want to do in life because I have a lot of hobbies or I don't have a hobby at all. Even until now, I still haven't gotten it figured out. I am just a confused eighteen year old young girl who is taking International Economics and Trade as her major in a university in China. People would say something like, "Oh, you can be a really good business woman, or an accountant or a finance counselor. Which one will you choose?" My answer would be, "I still don't know what I want to do in life." I don't want to rush into things and stress out about it. I enjoy writing, blogging, taking pictures, and sharing my experiences with all of you. I am still going to blog and do what I love while learning about Economics. There's nothing wrong with that, right? As the time past by, I eventually will realize what I'm really passionate about and just do it with determination.
Spice Up Your Room
I love decorating my bedroom; I usually change my vanity's decorations every now and then. Picking a theme for your room is very important so that you'll know what colors, designs, candles, bed sheet, and pillows that are perfect to be combined together. It is also a great way to start new because your environment influence your mood everyday. We want to make sure that the room is as comfy and nice as possible for you to do activities you love.
Things that you can do to make your bedroom looks different and unique:
1. Change your bed sheets and pillows according to your new theme
2. Choose flowers that suit your room perfectly (the colors of your flowers matter!)
3.Change up your vanity decor and the placement of your things
4. DIY new things to help organize your make up or accessories so they will look presentable as decorations
Good examples of perfect DIYs are

here
5. Put a glued on wallpaper that match your room theme
6. Create a collage of pictures you love and frame it or just glue them on your wall
7. Display the novels/books you love neatly on your vanity and put a cute decoration top of the pile of books
8. Repaint your room into the color that suit your theme
You can't just get everything perfect in a day, it takes time and hard work. So, don't put pressure on yourself when you can't change your room to be the "glamour" room in a little time because you gotta be patient to figure out the theme, do the DIYs, buy new decorations, and put your things in a different place/order. Take your time, these changes should be enjoyable and fun to do!
I hope you guys find this post very helpful. Good Luck!
LOVE,
